This pleasant 30-year-old female underwent breast augmentation with a circumareolar lift in 2001. At that time, round, saline implants were placed underneath the muscle. Since that initial surgery, she has had two children and has developed breast ptosis (sagging). Her goal is to correct the sagging and to replace the saline implants with silicone gel implants. In addition, she would like to be a little bit larger in breast size. Currently, she is a 36C and wants to be a full D.
At the time of surgery, the saline implants were removed and the capsule around the implants removed. The saline implants were replaced with silicone gel implants. The saline implants removed had a volume of 320cc. The silicone gel implants used at surgery had a volume of 457 ml. Following replacement of the implants, the breast lift was performed. To get the optimal shape, a vertical incision was necessary. Her postoperative course was unremarkable. Drains were used for three days and then removed. Photographs are taken at six weeks and show excellent shape and symmetry. She states she is a 34D.
She works as a personal trainer, and is so thrilled with the result that she has referred numerous clients.
