This 51-year-old ICU nurse was interested in facial cosmetic surgery in St. Louis to address her eye region, but knew she would not be able to take time off for her surgery until a year later. In the meantime, she wanted to do something to help her look less tired. She also wanted to explore options to enhance her lips, which had lost some volume as she got older and were also beginning to develop early wrinkling on the upper lip. While this patient was did have some static wrinkles, you can see in the picture that overall her skin tone is good. Her main problem was the dynamic wrinkling around her mouth and eyes, which BOTOX® Cosmetic can correct very effectively in the shorter term. The patient received BOTOX in a few key areas where she was experiencing the most significant wrinkling. The treatment helped smooth out smile lines around her nose and mouth, as well as many of the smaller wrinkles around her lips and lower eyelids. As a result her skin looks smoother, and her face overall appears much more rested and refreshed. The patient was very pleased with the results of her BOTOX injections at our St. Louis, Missouri treatment center.
