This thirty-four-year-old female has had three children and does not plan to have any more. She is 5’2” tall and weighs 115 pounds. As you can see in the preoperative photographs, she has no excessive fat. However, she has very lax skin, as well as laxity of her abdominal wall. She came to my office for breast enhancement in St. Louis to improve the appearance of breasts that atrophied and began to sag after pregnancy. She chose bilateral breast augmentation with silicone gel implants, a very popular choice for "mommy makeovers" as well as women considering primary breast enlargement. Silicone gel implants with a volume of 421 cc were placed beneath the muscle, using an incision around the areola. This patient also underwent abdominoplasty to tighten stomach muscles that were stretched out following pregnancy. Because she is so slim, she did not need any liposuction. The loose abdominal wall skin was removed and the underlying abdominal wall was tightened. She did very well postoperatively. You can see her early result here at six weeks. The contour of her breasts is excellent. She is now a D cup. Her abdomen is tight and she is ecstatic with the new look following her cosmetic surgery in St. Louis.
